Plain answers about where your data lives, who can see it, and what the AI providers receive.
Where your data is stored
Your account, business profile, board sessions and documents are stored in a managed Postgres database (Supabase) and served through Vercel. Connections to the site and the database are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and the managed database is encrypted at rest.
Who can see it
Member data is protected by row-level security in the database: your sign-in can only read and change your own records. Other members cannot see your businesses, sessions or files. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
What the AI providers receive
To answer, the board sends your question and the relevant business context to the AI models behind each advisor (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini and xAI Grok) through their commercial APIs, and the text of spoken answers to ElevenLabs to produce the voices. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Your control
You can delete your account and its data yourself from Account → Security, and cancel your plan from Account → Manage billing. Questions about data or a security concern: info@asktheaicouncil.com.
