What is Ask the AI Council?
An AI board of advisors for small businesses. A Chairman and four specialist advisors (operations, growth, innovation and finance) answer your question from their own lanes, push back on each other, and the Chairman gives a verdict with next steps.
Who is on the board?
Jonathan Pierce (Chairman), Alexander Weiss (operations), Charlotte Bauer (growth: marketing, pricing, customers), Dr. Sophia Chen (innovation: AI, tools, automation) and Gabriel Morales (finance: cash flow, margins, deals). They are AI personas, not real people.
Can I try it free?
Yes. Ask the board a question free with no account at asktheaicouncil.com/ask, or in the free iPhone app. A free account then gives you a board that remembers your business.
Is it free for students?
Yes. Sign up with your .edu email and confirm it: you get the Student plan, free with no card. Ask the board about any idea, a startup, class project or invention, no business needed. Voices, deep reviews, uploads and agents stay on the paid plans.

What does it cost?
Pro is $29.99 a month after a free first week. Pro Business is $69.99 a month for up to 4 businesses. Enterprise is priced for teams. A credit card is required to start the free week.
How do I cancel?
Sign in, open Account, then Manage billing, then Cancel plan. Cancel during the free week and you are not charged. After that, cancelling stops the next monthly charge.
How is it different from ChatGPT?
One chatbot gives you one agreeable answer. The board takes positions from different angles, disagrees where your plan is weak, and the Chairman decides, grounded in your business profile and anything you've connected or uploaded.
How long does an answer take?
The advisors' answers start appearing in a few seconds and the Chairman's verdict usually follows within about half a minute. A Deep review, with peer review between advisors, takes about a minute.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. Switch to Español on the homepage or in your account menu and the board answers in Spanish.
Can I use it for a client's business?
Yes. Ask about any business and the board answers on its own terms. On Pro Business you can keep up to 4 businesses, each with its own board memory.
Is my information private?
Your data is stored in a secured database where only your sign-in can read it, and is sent to the AI providers only to answer you. See Security and the Privacy Policy for details. You can delete your account and data any time from Account, then Security.
Is this financial or legal advice?
No. It is general business guidance generated by AI for planning. Check anything regulated or binding with your accountant, lawyer or financial advisor.
